Ossory
Antiguo reino de Irlanda.

Se convirtió en un estado semiindependiente del reino de Leinster ( siglo I AD). Su rey, Cerball, se alió con los invasores vikingos en el s. IX. Sus descendientes irlandeses recibieron el nombre de Fitzpatrick. La actual diócesis de Ossory, con sede en Kilkenny, cubre aprox. la misma superficie del antiguo estado.
